Our motto

Where champions are made. A school in Siaya. A vision for Kenya.

Our mission

To empower and inspire all learners to excel as lifelong champions — academically, socially, and in character — equipping them with the knowledge, competencies, and values to serve society with distinction.

Our vision

To be a leading centre of educational excellence in Kenya, renowned for producing well-rounded, creative, compassionate, and globally competitive graduates prepared to thrive in a rapidly changing world.

§ 01 Our story

A school built on a bold conviction.

Excellence in education is not a privilege reserved for the few — it is a birthright belonging to every child.

Dr. Charles Otieno Konyango
Founder

The Paradox Academy was founded upon a bold and enduring belief: that excellence in education is not a privilege reserved for the few, but a birthright belonging to every child. Established in Siaya, Kenya, the Academy began as a singular vision — to build a school that could stand alongside the finest institutions in the nation, while remaining deeply rooted in the community it serves.

From modest beginnings, we have grown into a fully registered institution delivering the Competency Based Curriculum (CBC) from Pre-Primary through Junior Secondary School under Kenya's 2-6-3-3 education framework.

Our name embodies our founding philosophy. A paradox reveals a deeper truth hidden beneath the surface. We believe the most extraordinary outcomes can emerge from the most unexpected places. A school in Siaya that produces scholars and champions who compete on the national and global stage — that is our paradox, and our solemn promise.

Today, The Paradox Academy is distinguished by its rigorous academics, devoted educators, modern facilities, and a culture that celebrates effort, integrity, and excellence. Looking ahead, we are developing a GCSE international pathway that will offer our learners globally recognised qualifications alongside their CBC education.

§ 03 Curriculum Framework · CBC

Kenya's Competency-Based Curriculum, delivered with rigour.

The Paradox Academy delivers the Competency Based Curriculum (CBC) as mandated by Kenya's Ministry of Education under the 2-6-3-3 structure. This framework cultivates seven core competencies across every learning area, every level.

Our educators are thoroughly trained in CBC pedagogy and employ both formative and summative assessments to monitor each learner's progress across all competency areas. The national curriculum is enriched by supplementary programmes that deepen understanding and ignite intellectual curiosity.
